Talking Tom Cat. Clash of Clans. Subway Surfers. TubeMate 3. Google Play. The Best Black Friday deals. Bill Gates' favorite books of Hawkeye review. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate review. Windows Windows. Most Popular. New Releases. Desktop Enhancements. AudioSurf is a sort of racing game in which your music is in charge of designing the race track. The circuits will have a certain layout or another depending on each song. The speed, frequency distribution or the choruses are used as the basis on which to design the settings.

Combine your favorite music and races to kill your spare time and boredom by downloading AudioSurf right now for PC. You can either play with a friend, or you can be a real man or woman and play two at once. The strong-willed can also try the Iron Mode, which ends the track and the game if your columns overflow, after failing to clear your collected blocks.

As for the 'music-adapting' aspect, there's some dark witchcraft going on in Audiosurf. While the easier levels leave you feeling a bit disconnected from the music, the Pro modes allow you to develop a deep lock with the notes, pre-empting oncoming traffic with your knowledge of the lyrics or percussion, and feeling slightly ill as the track bumps and ripples to the beat.

Playing several hard, fast tunes in a row isn't recommended either, as the velocity and psychedelia of it all frazzles your brain.

Deep down, Audiosurf is a technological feat mingled with a fun, yet shallow game. It's an original and addictive way to listen to your music, but can be ridiculously repetitive, and even makes you feel a little queasy when it runs too fast This may be a compliment though, as Audiosurf creates a fantastic sensation of speed, and is the closest you'll get to living your music until you can plug your iPod into your brain stem.

Audiosurf is fun, frantic, and a, fiver. The game is part audio visualiser and part rhythm mini-game, with players choosing music from their hard drive. Songs are then used to create a custom track which follows along with the beat of a song, with points for keeping in time. Some tracks from Valve's Orange Box are included, but the main purpose is for user-generated tracks.

While Audiosurf is fairly basic and visually dated, the core mechanics work well enough to keep it popular. Online scoreboards are still updated but no true multiplayer exists. Another important fact is that the game pre-dates music streaming services and so requires tracks to exist on a hard drive. Audiosurf is a fun casual experience for music fans. Playing along with personal favourites is an engaging way to enjoy songs anew but it is looking a little worn.

Audiosurf allows you to experience the intensity and emotion of your songs in real time, in full color, and in 3D. Songs that give you an adrenaline rush are converted into wild roller coaster rides full of color and motion. Songs that calm you down appear as cool colors against a relaxing sky. Audiosurf enhances the experience of your music collection by synchronizing its environment to the events in your songs--the beats, the intense sections, the long pauses followed by a burst of sound, all take on a more vivid meaning.

You'll need a Steam account to download the demo or buy the g ame. Can't download it I can't even download it.
